Quick update on Allotments..

<<<<---- 12th June 08, Vik> -- NEW!!! take the new poll on the left hand side of your screen

1. The allotment letters are printed and likely to be dispatched today (11th June 08)
2. The letter contains the flat number which is likely to be alloted to you, more often than not, you will get the apartment from the 3 options you provided at the time of booking.
3. Payment is likely to me made in the next 2-3 weeks after receipt of the letter.
4. At the time of payment - the buyer-seller agreement will be done.
5. Interior work is going on at the sample flat and as I predicted earlier...it will not be ready till 2nd week of July.

I am yet to get my letters but if you are excited to know which flat you are getting and how much payment you need to make...you may call the rep at GPL and he would be able to help you with that.

I am off to chicago for a couple of weeks and I hope you all will continue to post here and keep us all updated. Thanks again for visiting this blog and continuing to build the eden-heights community

Hi ,

GPL is taking PLC for every flat... No mater which location yoo go for there is PLC for every flat.

Ya they have revisd theit layout plan, you have to pay at least 1 PLC - no chance to escape whichever flat you opt for. Still worth it !!

Hi
Can any body give me the details how they are charging the PLC charges. As till now i've not received the allotment letter.

I dont think we can run away from PLC - every builder will ensure every flat has a PLC attached to it (almost like a forced plc - without clear definition of what a garden view means, what a pool facing means...) - so it's definitely a grey area (like many others in the constructon business)...

and btw GPL still hasn't been able to courier the alotment letters...according to them those who have it must have collected in person (Is that the case with you Amitabh??, pls let us know)
I don't have the latest update but we discussed PLC in an earlier blog post and here is what i said then (April 27, 2008 11:13 AM)

*************

"Here is what I know of PLC (some of my information dates back to November 07 when I booked the flat)

Ground Floor - 150PSFT
1st - 3rd floor - 100PSFT
3rd floor and above - NO PLC

POOL and GARDEN FACING - 100 PSQFT
PARK FACING - 50PSFT

Obviously - most builders ensure that every flat falls in any one or more of the above "forced" preferences :). Lets wait and watch
"

Park facing is Rs.100 psft as well !!

Hi Vik,
If you check the GPL website now they have updated the PLC charges...

PARK FACING Rs. 100/- Per Sq. Ft.
CORNER FACING Rs. 50/- Per Sq. Ft.
POOL FACING Rs. 50/- Per Sq. Ft. GROUND FLOOR Rs. 150/- Per Sq. Ft.
1ST TO 3RD FLOOR Rs. 100/-PerSq.ft
TOP FLOOR Rs. 200/- Per Sq. Ft.

Floor,Park and pool facing PLC is no problem ...it will be there and evey builder will charge like that only.

My concern is corner facing PLC...which you have to pay over and above this park, pool or floor PLC as every flat will have a corner facing.

I have spoken to Manisha and Manish in GPL they have also confirmed this. Everyone have to pay atleast 50/- per sq Ft. PLC for every flat.

Which was not conveyed by GPL intially ...

Hi

I also got it, as we discussed earlier, they have forcefully charged PLC to everybody, i think nobody can escape from park or Garden facing.

I'm also planning to move to India after getting the possession for this flat and eager to see there work standards, will our flats look like Raheja of Unitech...like what we can see on this website link (http://www.fourthdimensionsolutions.com/smallbusiness.html, Pl click on the respective builder link) where they have given the virtual tours for different builders....

Samir, I'm eagrly waiting for the Video/Picture that you will upload after your visit.....
