basement raft - more!!

Hey Folks ~ its been a while and I am going to keep this posting short. So i cycle a lot these days- bought a really cool TREK bicycle and do all sorts of things and explore new places around gurgaon. And to get to one of the places I usually cycle past GPL Eden heights site - which is good as it gives me regular updates of progress on the ground.

Ok - looks like most of the basement raft work is done except for tower I (my tower!!!)- where the digging has also not started which is disappointing but nevertheless the progress on the ground is going on at a good pace. Here are a couple of pics to this morning

What other updates do you have?

Good for you. I know Tower B is also not under construction.
Guys, I am a bit concerned so looking forward to any construction update. Just one thing what the activity like. How many people and machine you saw in your last visit.

I am not sure but will check out next time I am around but I think i saw significant number of people and machinery at the site...the work seems to be going on...how real it is only the GPL folks can tell.

I don't see too much activity around the new sectors and a little concerned if we were to end up moving into Eden heights in 2011 with a village around..duh!! that'd suck!! also i feel the right/better price for the apartment should have been around 1800psf...

lets hope for the best...

Agree with Vik on pricing part...specially when number of reputed builders have soften their prices in the current market situation.

We are aware of reality, and have invested post due diligence....now; the arrow is off the bow lets see where it hits.

Amitabh,
I think we should at least ask them for discount. The discounts has been offered in other places.
DLF is offering upto 30%.
I would agree with your assessment if they were on track with their construction but with current delay I think we can ask GPL.

AS,

How shall we bell the cat - as we are hardly present in India.

Amitabh,
Yes, you are right. I have sent them emails and asked for the explanation. I am sorry to say I have received no reponse. I was supposed to recieve Sandeep's call/number but no response so far.

The cat seems to be running at this moment. I am nervous and a bit disappointed with GPL.
They asked for money for zero progress on ground. When conforted by me after my father's visit, they agreed to suspend the payment. Is this professional way? No.
I am still waiting for response.
